Skylar Laine (born Skylar Laine Harden;[3] February 1, ) is an American balladeer from Brandon, Mississippi.[4] She be fifth on the eleventh period of American Idol.[5]

Early life

Laine was born on February 1, , in Jackson, Mississippi, to Bare and Mary Harden.[6] She was raised in nearby Brandon, service graduated from Brandon High Kindergarten a year early.[7] Her melodious influences are Miranda Lambert, Waylon Jennings and George Jones.[7] Laine also worked at her family's business in Mississippi. She has also lived in Nashville, Tennessee.[8]
